HOURS OF OPERATION
Trail Tours is open annually from May 1 to October 31. We operate Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. If there is a special day you'd like to visit us but we're not scheduled to be open, contact us and we will try to fit you in. Typically, we can accomodate a single or pair of riders with short notice. Large groups of five or more should book weeks in advance.

HOW TO BOOK
E-mail or call us with the following information:
* The day(s) you prefer to ride
* Indicate which tour you are interested in: a) ATV b) Dirtbike c) Special Event
* Number of people in your party
* Your name, phone number where you can be reached day/night and e-mail address

When you have received a reply from us with the date you prefer; you will be required to provide a deposit equalling 50% of the total cost. We accept Visa or MasterCard.

SPECIAL EVENT DETAILS 2009


Dual Sport Clinic - May 9, 2009

Large Dual Sport bikes are welcome for this event! Learn how to ride off-road comfortably and confidently. Cost is $110. Your own bike and riding gear is required. Use of a dirt bike is included in a portion of the course.

Fire Fighter Appreciation Day - May 13, 2009

If you fight fires you only pay $200 taxes included.


ODSC Family Day (Dual Sport Clinic) - May 23, 2009

You will learn: bike set-up, cornering, power slides, tight turns, off-chamber turns, high speed turns, log crossings, water crossings, jumps and hill climbs. Also learn to ride various terrain like sand, mud, rock, hard packed and asphalt. Lunch is provided. Bring your own bike for $50. Lunch included.


Trail Ride With Shane Watts - June 26, 2009

Ride with the former World Champion and GNCC Champion right here at the Ganaraska Forest. Cost is $50. Your own bike and riding gear is required.

Shane Watts Dirt Wise Riding School - June 27-28, 2009

Northumberland Trail Ride - August 1, 2009
This ride will delve into the depths of the Oak Ridges Moraine. Exploring the Rice Lake Plains and into the rurality of Northumberland county. This event epitomizes the term “Back-road Ontario”.

Trials Clinic with Guest Instructor Ryan Young - August 15-16, 2009
Ryan will teach you wheelies, balance, floater turns, pivot turns, front wheel hops, rear wheel hops, flip turns and log crossings. Cost is $220 per student with their own bike and $380 for those who require one. Limited space available.

Burnt River - August 18-21, 2009 (FULL)

The tour is attractive because of the amazing variety of terrain and trail mix it has to offer. Some of the trails that we utilize are designed for riders who have off-road experience and this is not recommended for those who only have road riding experience under their belts.


Girls Only Ride - August 29, 2009

Girls are always welcome here at Trail Tours but this day is just for the ladies. No matter if you're a beginner or a seasoned veteran, this day is designed to help you develop confidence and control. You'll participate with other like minded individuals of the feminine nature in an environment that will show you how much fun dirt bikes can be. Ages 10 and up.

Calabogie Boogie 2-Day Trail Ride - September 12-13, 2009
The 18th running of the "Boogie" is always a delight. Come ride some of the best trails in Canada. Some of the trails that we utilize are designed for riders who have off-road experience and this is not recommended for those who only have road riding experience under their belts.


Limerick Trail Ride - September 19-20, 2009 (FULL)
You will find a wide variety of trails sure to please any level rider. For advanced riders there are miles of single track, double track, fire roads, hills, valleys and challenging sections that will make your ride highly unique. Ottawa area.


La Rose Trail Ride - September 26-27, 2009 (FULL)
Kilometers of scenic back-roads, road allowances and double-track trails through hardwood forests is what you’ll see on this ride. Options are available for water crossings and hill climbs.

Honda Junior Red Riders
Bring the little one(s) and ride red all day long.

Trials Clinic with Guest Instructor Jordan Szoke
Top Canadian Trials rider and two time Canadian Superbike Champion, will be on hand to show you how to finesse the trials bike.


Advanced Off-Road Clinic with Guest Instructor Dustin Heacock
This top Canadian Motocross, Enduro and Hare Scamble rider for the past 10 years, will show you how to ride fast over cross country terrain. You'll tackle techniques involving sand, rocks, mud, hills, off-chamber situations, logs, roots, ruts, whoops, berms, jumps, all the while helping you develop better braking, throttle, and clutch control.


Trials Clinic
Trials techniques will be taught that are suitable for your skill level. We will cover riding position, throttle control, clutch control, brake control, cornering, obstacles, larger obstacles, hills, off camber hills, suspension loading and weight transfer. The skills developed at this course will enable you to excel in whichever discipline of riding you are involved in; be it motocross, road riding, road racing, enduro, hare scramble, or even dirt track.


Dual Sport Clinic

ATV Canadian Safety Council Course
Become a better rider. Learn the proper way to maneuver your ATV. This is the same course we offer O.P.P, Duham Police, Environment Canada, and The Ministry of Natural Resourses.
